Master of Science (M.Sc.) In Computer Science

Requirements:

The Master of Science in Computer Science degree requires the completion of 36 academic units of course work at the graduate level beyond the completion of a baccalaureate degree in computer science or its equivalent. The graduate computer science program has concentrations in the specialities of software applications and hardware systems.

Prerequisites:

An earned Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, or a related area.

Prescriptive Education:

The student must complete no fewer than 20 units of the program through instructional course work from the Institute. A maximum of 16 units of courses may he accepted in transfer from other institutions, or accepted in the form of appropriately documented professional experience. Due to prevailing state or Federal regulations, the award of experiential credit is limited to a maximum of 20% of total required for the degree. The Master's degree can he completed with or without a Master's thesis.
