The primary mission of the University is to provide career-oriented educational programs of study in selected disciplines consistent with the current needs of the various professions. In accordance with this mission, the University has established the following goals: |

Offer quality, applications -oriented curricula, designed to produce competent, and innovative graduates who can adapt to the rapid changes in technology. Consistent with this important consideration, the University seeks to enrol qualified students who can benefit from its non- traditional, distance-learning and traditional campus based residential academic programs; |

Contrary to traditional public university systems, where the cost of education is nearly prohibitive and beyond reach of an overwhelming majority of the population, the goal of the University is to maintain high quality education while keeping tuition fees and other expenses as reasonable as possible. Fiscal responsibility continues to be the hallmark of the University's day-to-day operations; and |

Enhance the opportunities for advancement and career mobility of motivated professionals already employed or seeking a career change by offering continuing education and part-time academic programs designed to meet the challenges of a continually evolving technology. |
