Computer Science Degree Program

The computer science (CS) degree program is designed to meet the growing needs for technical specialists who are called upon to confront and solve problems in a variety of diverse areas such as computer programming, systems analysis/design, software design, space communications systems, artificial intelligence, local and widearea networks (LAN / WAN), management information systems (MIS),data base management systems (DBMS) etc.

Additionally, computer specialists work in the fields of consultation, administration, management and marketing. The University offers academic work through correspondence in computer science curricula leading to Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degree programs in this discipline. A strong interdisciplinary course work as well as meaningful research and development activities are emphasized to prepare students for challenging careers in computer science and technology.

General Graduate Degree Requirements:

No student is accepted into a graduate degree program without a completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited or appropriately reputable institution. Students holding certificates, diplomas or degrees from non? U. S. or unaccredited institutions may be required to take additional remedial courses or complete the Bachelor's degree prior to enrollment in a Master's degree program.
